Paras Bassuk (they/them/theirs) is a sophomore pursuing a Psychology B.S., Human Rights Certificate, and Spanish Minor. They are so excited to make campus a welcoming place for Queer, Trans, and POC students by working at the Pride Center. Paras is passionate about advocating for the rights of QTPOC in the Iowa Legislature and local Iowa City government. In their time outside of class, Paras is a musician and a photographer, and does developmental neuroscience research in the DEN Lab. They also love to cook/bake multi-cultural food!
