Calling all young people committed to social justice! Learn about the many faces of activism by participating in the Dr Martin Luther King Youth Summit on Saturday, January 15th from 2-5pm. Young people will learn how to apply their strengths toward various types of activism including: Community Organizing, Arts and Music, and Advocacy in the Schools. This workshop is free and open to all junior high and high school students. *Only 30 spots available, sign up today using the link below!

After the Summit, youth participants are invited to a Rock and Skate event at the Robert A Lee Rec Center!

This youth summit is being hosted by UAY, Iowa City Parks and Recreation DepartmentIowa City Community School District, and The City of Iowa City Government's Office of Equity & Human Rights with support from local AmeriCorps staff and United Way of Johnson & Washington Counties.
