The Division of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, the Diversity Councils, and the Graduate College are pleased to announce the Hawks of Color with Dr. Erin Stresow event schedule for Spring 2022. Be sure to register here in advance below to save your spot.

Hawks of Color is a place of welcome and community building while celebrating excellence! Formerly Faculty and Staff of Color, Hawks of Color is a re-envisioned community space to support and promote conversations among historically underrepresented, global majority, and/or marginalized faculty, staff, postdocs, and students at the University of Iowa. In addition to uplifting our voices and brilliance, attendees will have an opportunity to gather with others.

Join Dr. Stresow as she talks about her research on “Servant Leadership, Leader-Member Exchange (LMX), and Individual Well-Being as Pathways to Employee Engagement, Individual/Team/Organizational Commitment and Performance in the Modern Workplace.” She’ll tie together her research and current work in her role as an Assistant Director in Inclusive Education and Strategic Initiatives in the Division of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion as it relates to identities, intersectionality, and DEIB.

Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend all University of Iowa-sponsored events. If you are a person with a disability who requires a reasonable accommodation in order to participate in this program, please contact Bria Marcelo at brianna-marcelo@uiowa.edu
