APAHM Gala

Old Brick
Collaborating with the Asian American Student Union, the APAHM gala will be a space to celebrate graduating students (undergraduate and graduate), APIDA student leaders, and alumni. This event is to commemorate and honor members of the APIDA community to express appreciation for the achievements, commonalities, and cultural differences that characterize the experiences of APIDA-identified students. Also, the APAHM gala will celebrate the accomplishments and events hosted in April!
Rainbow Graduation Celebration 2024

Old Capitol Museum
The Rainbow Graduation Celebration recognizes the achievements of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer students, as well as their advocates. This annual event honors both undergraduate, graduate, and professional students who graduate in the fall or spring semester. The Rainbow Graduation Celebration features UI faculty, staff, students, and community members, and is followed by a reception.
CIAE End of Year Celebration

The 34th annual Center for Inclusive Academic Excellence End of the Year Celebration, a special afternoon of entertainment and celebration will be held May 7, 3 to 6 p.m. at the Iowa Memorial Union. Black Graduation Celebration 2024

MISSE Spaces
MISSE provides a "Home Away From Home" atmosphere for many students and can be utilized by any UI student or reserved for student organization events, with approval. MISSE also provides intra-and cross-cultural education, leadership and organizational development opportunities, social justice education, and change. MISSE compliments the academic mission of the University by enhancing students' inside and outside of the classroom.
